We are thrilled to have been recognised with a gold standard award for our top level health and safety practices for a second year.

Apex Roofing have been awarded a gold level certificate by the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC), as part of their 2017 Health and Safety Roofing Awards Scheme.

The NFRC scheme is aimed at promoting health and safety practices amongst member companies and the gold standard reflects Apex’s commitment to best practice, reducing accidents and hazards in the workplace and maintaining a top-level health and safety record.

Director of Apex Roofing, Jackie Biswell, said: “We are delighted to have received this highly-regarded award from the NFRC, showing our commitment to health and safety.

“We are immensely proud of this recognition because this is an area we take very seriously.

“Working at height and with naked flame can be dangerous without proper control measures in place. Those carrying out the work must be trained, competent and instructed in use of the precautions required.

“Protecting the welfare of all of our staff, clients and the public is paramount and maintaining best practice in this area is an integral part of our business.

“We simply never compromise on safety, provide continuous training and rigorously enforce all personal protective equipment requirements to ensure that our health and safety record never waivers.”
